PURPOSE:To realize the quick and correct retrieval of a case history sheet file even if the number of digits becomes large by managing with retrieval by retrieving actually only higher order (N to n) digits even if a file number has N-digits. CONSTITUTION:Storage sections 11A to 11E, 12A to 12E are provided in accordance with the combinations of numerical values represented by the lower order n-digits of the file number of N-digits. These storage sections 11A to 11E, 12A to 12E are coordinated with the combinations of the numerical values represented by the lower m-digits in the higher order (N-n)-digits excluding the lower order n-digits of the N-digits file number, and are divided into storage areas 11aO to 11e9, 12a0 to 12e9. Then, they are displayed respectively by display means 11I, 12I on the basis of a file taking out request from the outsides. Here, N=2,3,...,n=1,2,...; n<N, m=1,2,..., m<=N-n. Thus, the case history sheet file can be quickly and correctly retrieved. |
