PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture system capable of effectively controlling breakage caused by quakes of an earthquake.SOLUTION: The furniture system S includes: a coupler 2 including: a coupler body 20 fixed to the uppermost part of a side panel 3; and stay 21 as a connection rod for connecting the coupler body 20 to a coupler body 20 attached to other furniture 1. As side panels 3 are coupled to each other as they are in the furniture system S in this way, deformation in the furniture 1 generated when an earthquake occurs is minimized by minimizing the number of connecting positions in the furniture 1 from the floor surface to a coupling position. As a result, breakage and falling of the furniture 1 caused by the earthquake can be effectively controlled. |
