PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose coupler capable of preventing a lock nut from dropping out of a coupler main body and capable of easily fitting or removing the hose.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a hose coupler 1 having a coupler main body 3 for connecting a hose 2 to an outer circumferential surface of a connecting end part 4 and a lock nut 10 that can be fixed to an outer circumferential surface of the coupler main body 3 through a thread connection, can push a hose 2 from its outer circumference against a connecting end part 4 at a position where the thread connection is tightly fastened and the hose 2 is not substantially pushed from the outer circumference to the connecting end part 4 at a releasing position where the thread connection is released and the hose 2 is removably connected to another device. There is provided a dropping preventive means other than the thread connection, in which a first engaging part 15 is abutted against a second engaging part 19 to prevent the lock nut 10 from being dropped from the coupler main body 3, and the thread connection is released under a state in which the first engaging part 15 is abutted against the second engaging part 19 to prevent the lock nut 10 from being dropped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
