The gate (1) has a frame with two vertically running supporting columns (3, 4) moving in a horizontal direction. A door leaf (2) is suspended in the frame and movably supported on the columns in the longitudinal direction of the columns by sliding supports (7). Hydraulic drives (8) are fixed on the columns and the door leaf for moving the door leaf in the longitudinal direction of the columns.
