An electrical connector assembly comprises a first terminal module, a second terminal module, a grounded metal plate, an insulator, an inner shield casing, and an outer shield casing. The first terminal module, the grounded metal plate, and the second terminal module are spaced apart from one another, and a tongue plate is integrally formed in the insulator and is disposed in a front portion of the insulator. The first terminal module and the second terminal module are respectively disposed an upper surface and a lower surface of the tongue plate. The grounded metal plate is completely covered by the insulator. The inner shield casing is fixed to a middle portion of the insulator. The outer shield casing covers the insulator so as to form an engagement portion around an outer space of the tongue plate. |
