摘要 The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a spline hub which minimizes a quantity of raw materials used and an amount of raw materials wasted by removing a hot forging process, a first turning process and a second turning process while manufacturing the spline hub, and at the same time manufacture the spline hub having a precise shape. According to the present invention, the method of manufacturing the spline hub comprises: a preparation step of preparing raw materials; a first heat treatment step of annealing the raw materials; a surface treatment step of performing shot blast processing of the raw materials processed by the first heat treatment step; a lubrication step of performing bonderite processing of the raw materials processed by the surface treatment step; a first forming step of manufacturing a preform having a contour of the spline hub by performing cold forging of the raw materials processed by the lubrication step; a second forming step of manufacturing a work-in-process with improved dimension precision by performing cold forging of the preform; a second heat treatment step of normalizing the work-in-process; a piercing step of forming boss holes penetrating a center of the work-in-process processed by the second heat treatment step and a plurality of flow path holes formed in a fixated interval along an outer diameter of the work-in-process; a broaching step of forming a spline in the boss hole; and a processing step of manufacturing a complete product by performing fine machining of the work-in-process processed by the broaching step.
