PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an image allowing a user of a vehicle to accurately recognize a state of a place which the user would like to confirm.SOLUTION: A first image is generated on the basis of a photographed image, which has the vicinity of a viewpoint position of a vehicle driver set as a viewpoint position of a virtual viewpoint, and has a prescribed direction from the viewpoint position set as a visual field direction of the virtual viewpoint, and in which an image of a vehicle in the image is a transmission image. In addition, a second image is generated on the basis of the photographed image, which has an external position of the vehicle set as a viewpoint position of the virtual viewpoint, and has a direction indicating a specific place positioned on an extension line in the visual field direction of the virtual view point in the first image set as a visual field direction of the virtual view point. Thereby, one place viewed from the different virtual view points is displayed in the center part of each of multiple images allowing the user of the own vehicle to accurately recognize a state of a place that the user would like to confirm. |
