PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable key for a vehicle of an electronic key system, for which a cover is surely attached to a case so that the cover is not unexpectedly detached from the case.SOLUTION: In the portable key of the electronic key system including a mechanical key 13 provided so as to be projected by a pressing operation of a push button 55, a locking pawl 52e is provided on a distal end part of an extension part 52d extended at a first shaft part 52a provided on a cover 52 such that the push button 55 can move back, and a locking hole 53e for locking the locking pawl 52e is provided on a second shaft part 53a provided on a case 53, respectively. Further, on the push button 55, a spill port 55b which allows retreat of the engaging pawl 52e under the pressing operation and enables movement of the locking pawl 52e into the second shaft part 53a, and a contact part 55c for blocking the retreat of the engaging pawl 52e under the release of the pressing operation and blocking detachment from the locking hole 53e are formed. |
