PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an astronomic observation facility for which a visual field of a telescope is secured by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In the astronomic observation facility having a facility body 20 where a telescope 7 is housed in the state where an upper part is projected from a ceiling opening H and a roof part 1 opened and closed by being slid in an advancing/retreating direction with respect to the entire length direction of a ceiling opening, the astronomic observation facility includes: a roof part in such a shape that a center part is made high and the front and the back are lowered so that an upper part of a projected telescope is settled in a space at the center part; guide rails 3, 3 for sliding the roof part in the advancing/retreating direction with respect to the ceiling opening; and a roof part opening/closing mechanism for, when withdrawing the roof part from the ceiling opening, withdrawing a rear end to a position higher than the telescope projected from the ceiling opening by sliding the roof part while swinging it on the guide rails 3 with the front end thereof as a fulcrum. |
