PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting data generation method, a cutting data generation device, a program and a computer-readable recording medium that can suppress operation time and high cost.SOLUTION: A cutting data generation method for generating cutting data to perform cutting of a sheet material into a desired shape by controlling a cutter for the cutting includes: a generation step of generating cutting data on the basis of operator's input; an image generation step of generating an image picture by superimposing the cutting data generated in the generation step on preliminarily stored image data; and a change step of, in the image picture generated in the image generation step, changing the size and arrangement position of the cutting data displayed on the image data, according to an operator's operation. |
