In a method for data communication between an application (30) on a mobile end device (10) and a security element (20) which is integrated in the mobile end device (10), a data communication (S2; S4; S7; S8) between the application (30) and the security element (20) is redirected via an external bypass server (50). The latter relays the respectively received query messages and response messages substantially unchanged. The bypass server can address the security element (20) for this purpose via a conventional over-the-air (OTA) interface. |
