The invention relates to a forming device (13) for thermoforming a thermoplastically malleable, preferably plate-like work piece (2), particularly made of fibre-reinforced plastic, comprising: at least one heating device (14) for heating the work piece (2); a moulding tool (15) for moulding the heated work piece (2), forming a three-dimensional target form of the work piece (2), wherein the moulding tool (15) comprises a plurality of shaping elements (24), which are movable independently of each other to respective target positions (zi) to form the target form; and a pressure generating device (16) for pressing the heated work piece (2) against the moulding tool (15) during moulding of the work piece (2). The invention further relates to a processing machine (1) for processing a thermoplastically malleable, preferably plate-like work piece (2), particularly made of fibre-reinforced plastic, and a method for thermoforming such a work piece (2). |
