The present invention provides a novel method for evaluating/selecting a pluripotent stem cell with high efficiency and high accuracy while eliminating the occurrence of a cross reaction as observed in an antigen-antibody reaction. In the present invention, an N-binding sugar chain, an O-binding sugar chain, a GSL, a GAG, and a FOS on the surface of a cell are separated and purified from a single cell sample by a glycoblotting method or a BEP method, and the comprehensive quantitative/qualitative analysis of these sugar chains is carried out by MALDI-TOF/MS. In this manner, sugar chain markers specific to a pluripotent stem cell can be determined, and the sugar chain markers can be used for the identification of a pluripotent cell. |
