A solenoid is included in a control valve for supplying working fluid for engaging the clutch device, and actual clutch stroke amount Lt of the clutch device is calculated from a solenoid current i. A hybrid ECU calculates clutch wear amount Lw of a clutch disk by subtracting the effective clutch stroke amount La from the actual clutch stroke amount Lt, and controls operation of the clutch device on the basis of the clutch wear amount Lw.
