The present invention has an object to provide a refrigeration cycle device capable of reliably inhibiting an increase in high pressure side refrigerant pressure and liquid compression by a compressor even when a temperature of a heat medium before heating is high. The refrigeration cycle device of the present invention includes: a first condenser; a second condenser for further condensing a refrigerant having passed through the first condenser; a heat medium path for passing a heat medium through the second condenser and the first condenser in this order; a high/low pressure heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a high pressure refrigerant after heat exchange with the heat medium and a low pressure refrigerant having passed through an evaporator; a second condenser bypass passage for bypassing a refrigerant flow path or a heat medium flow path in the second condenser; a flow path controlling element capable of varying a bypass rate of the refrigerant or the heat medium bypassing the second condenser; and control means for controlling an operation of the flow path controlling element so as to increase the bypass rate when a temperature of the heat medium before heat exchange with the refrigerant is high, and increasing a heat exchange rate in high/low pressure heat exchanger. |
