The invention relates to an energy saving module (10) comprising a means (14) for connecting to a temperature control system (20) and to a temperature sensor (30). The control system (20) is associated with air conditioning means and is configured so as to keep the temperature of a passenger compartment at a set temperature according to a temperature that is measured by the temperature sensor (30) corresponding to the temperature of the passenger compartment. The module (10) comprises temperature shift means (15) capable of shifting said temperature, measured by the temperature sensor (30), by a predetermined value. The temperature measured by the temperature sensor (30) is incremented when the air conditioning means are configured to provide heat, and said temperature measured by the temperature sensor (30) is reduced when the air conditioning means is configured to provide cooling. The invention is useful in a public transit vehicle and particularly in a railway vehicle. |
