A garment 10, suitable for use in conjunction with a seat belt to enhance the safe use of the seat belt, comprises a front section 11 and a rear section (12, figure 1b) both sections being joined together to produce a tube, combining at one end of the tube to form a neck portion to be located in use around the neck and shoulders of a child. The front section 11 including one or more guides or channels 16a, 16b extending lengthwise down the front section. The channels, which are positioned either side of the neck portions, comprise thinner material than the remainder of the garment and are suitable to house or accommodate a strap or a seat belt. The thinner material may be a mesh material. |
