A housing for electrical apparatus, the housing comprising a wall 6 with an aperture (50, figure 2) in which a cable connector body 28, 30 (preferably F type connector) locates. The cable connector body receives a securing means 56 (such as a clamping nut) to secure the cable connector body to a portion of the wall of the housing adjacent the aperture, the portion of the wall is recessed 58. Preferably the recessed portion is the same depth as the securing means so that the securing means lies flush with the face of the wall when screwed on to the cable connector body. Benefits of making the nut counter-sunk are: that it improves the manufacture of the electrical apparatus, is a non-invasive way of securing the connector to the housing and allows the securing means to be accessible afterwards. |
