The invention further relates to a microscope, comprising a lens unit, a light source (4) that radiates light into the lens unit, a stage arranged between the light source (4) and the lens unit for accommodating an object to be examined under the microscope, a first polarization filter (3) arranged between the light source (4) and the stage, a second polarization filter (3) arranged between the stage and the lens unit and rotated 90° relative to the first polarization filter, and a photonic crystal arranged in the beam path, characterized in that the photonic crystal is brought in contact with the object. Finally, the invention relates to a method for microscopy by means of a microscope, characterized in that the object to be examined under the microscope is brought in contact with a photonic crystal and that the object is examined under the microscope. |
