The present invention relates to a card holder capable of blocking radio waves, which blocks communications between a card reader device and some of IC cards and ID cards stored inside a wallet, according to compartments in which the cards are stored. The present invention addresses the problem of a payment error caused by multiple IC cards responding simultaneously when the wallet is brought near a card reader device for making payments on public transportation such as buses or subway trains, or a card recognition device such as an RFID system for employees entering a company building. Moreover, the present invention prevents the risk of personal information leakage that can occur without the users recognition. Accordingly, the present invention provides a wallet facilitating selective recognition of IC chips, which allows the user to directly form areas shielded from radio waves for selected IC cards among the multiple IC cards stored in a wallet, to thereby block the communications between the card reader device and the IC cards selected by the user. |
