摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method for a pneumatic tire by which durability of a tire on the market can be quickly evaluated by promoting reproduction of internal deterioration in the tire.SOLUTION: The test method for a pneumatic tire comprises: an oxygen filling step of filling a sample tire 2 having a belt 14 consisting of a plurality of layers, with a gas including oxygen; a rubber deterioration step of holding the sample tire 2 filled with oxygen under environment temperature condition of not less than 65°C and not more than 75°C for a period not less than 14 days and not more than 26 days; and a running step of rotating the sample tire 2 after the rubber deterioration processing, by a bench test device 52, where the oxygen density in the filling gas is not less than 70% and not more than 100%. In the running step, a slip angle of the sample tire is set, the slip angle is set to be inverse to the right/left direction of the inclination of a cord of a radially outermost layer of the belt with respect to an equatorial plane, and the angle is clockwise or counterclockwise not less than 1.2° and not more than 1.8°.
