PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent, especially a coating agent for surface treatment of synthetic artificial leather, which, when compared with the case where a conventional ultraviolet absorber is used, has excellent light resistance, non-bleeding-out properties, compatibility, water resistance, and heat resistance and which suppresses photodegradation and also improves durability when used individually or blended with various resins.SOLUTION: A polymer composition includes an ultraviolet ray-absorbable polymer (A) and a dispersion of a polyurethane (B) and is obtained by mixing them, wherein the ultraviolet ray-absorbable polymer (A) is a polymerization product obtained by polymerization of a compound (a) having a double bond and an ultraviolet ray-absorbable group and a double bond-containing component (h), and the polyurethane (B) is a reaction product obtained by reaction of a reactive component including a compound (b) having an active hydrogen-containing group and an anionic hydrophilic group (except a hydroxyl group), a polyol (c) and/or a polyamine (d), and a polyisocyanate (e). The coating agent containing the polymer composition, especially the coating agent for surface treatment of synthetic artificial leather is provided. |
