PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activation system capable of activating ammunition accurately for a target flight distance at any place, without significantly modifying an artillery gun.SOLUTION: An ammunition activation system 10 provided with an activation control part 32 for ammunition 30 includes a data transmission part 22 provided separately from an artillery gun 20, for transmitting electromagnetic waves for transmitting target flight distance data toward discharged ammunition 30, and a sensor 31 provided on a side surface of the ammunition 30 to detect electromagnetic waves. The activation control part 32 includes a clocking part for measuring an elapsed time after discharging, a speed calculation part for determining rotation speed of the ammunition 30 and calculating flight speed from the rotation speed, and a required time calculation part for calculating required time until the flight distance of the ammunition 30 becomes a target flight distance from the flight speed, the elapsed time, the target flight distance data, and the like, and an activation command part for activating the ammunition 30 after the required time has elapsed. |
