PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding excellent in mechanical strength, heat resistance, water resistance, etc., by molding a thermoplastic saturated norbornene-based polymer composition containing a specific amount of a filler in the presence of an inert having a linear expansion coefficient of a definite value or less into one piece. CONSTITUTION:A polymer composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic saturated norbornene-based polymer and (B) 10-100 pts.wt. filler of fibrous filler such as carbon fibers or glass fibers is molded in the presence of an insert having <=2.5-10<-5>/ deg.C linear expansion coefficient such as iron, aluminum or optical glass is molded into one piece to give the objective molding of norbornene-based polymer excellent in electrical insulating characteristics, chemical resistance and dimensional stability. |
