The switchgear cabinet comprises a power unit (3), a main switch (6), a motor starter (7), a sprinkler pump motor (9), a motor monitor (10) and a network monitoring unit (15). The power unit, external switch or transmitter elements, condition monitoring module (32), and ring bus participant module (29) are connected to a central control unit (21) via signal lines (39,42). The condition monitoring module monitors the signal lines for wire-break and short-circuits and acquires the switching signals of internal and external switch or transmitter elements connected to signal lines. An independent claim is included for a method of monitoring and controlling fire extinguishing system components with electronic switchgear cabinet for electrical sprinkler pumps. |
