The clothes dryer has a process air flow generating unit in which a process air flow filter (19) is arranged. The process air flow filter comprises a frame, a filter and a fragrance container (39) for dispensing a fragrance. The fragrance container is arranged at a distance from frame. A spacer (43) is arranged between frame and fragrance container which is placed centrally in the path of process air stream.
