The present invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising a seat part (2) for providing a seat surface for a seat occupant, a guide track arrangement (4) for the longitudinally adjustable arrangement of the vehicle seat in a vehicle and a height adjustment device (5) comprising a plurality of rockers (51a, 51b, 52a, 52b), which are pivotally coupled to the seat part and the guide track arrangement (4) and which connect the seat part to the guide track (4) so as to be adjustable in height, and a drive unit (53) powered by an electric motor for driving a first rocker of the plurality of rockers. The drive unit has a driving pinion (531), which engages with teeth of a tooth segment (552) and which can move in rotation with respect to the tooth segment (552) in order to set the seat height of the seat part (2) relative to the guide track arrangement (4). The invention is characterized in that the driving pinion (531) is mounted on the first rocker (51a) and the tooth segment (552) is arranged immovably on the guide track arrangement (4) or on the seat part (2), wherein the drive unit (53) powered by an electric motor is fixedly coupled with the first rocker (51a) and swings together therewith. |
