The present invention provides a speaker-embedded LED light lamp which is capable of receiving an audio signal transmitted from a portable terminal to reproduce the received audio signal, and a method of controlling the operation of the same. The speaker-embedded LED light lamp according to the present invention includes a light shade having one end in which a bulb socket is mounted; a speaker installed in the inside of the light shade; an LED board on which a plurality of LEDs are mounted, and which is mounted on one end of the inside of the light shade; a wireless receiver configured to receive audio information wirelessly transmitted from the portable terminal; a mode storage configured to store an LED driving mode according to each of a plurality of music genres; a control unit configured to extract the audio signal and the music genre included in the audio information and to select one of the LED driving modes according to the plurality of music genres as the LED driving mode corresponding to the extracted music genre; an LED driving execution unit configured to drive the plurality of LEDs in the selected LED driving mode; and an audio processing unit configured to process data of the extracted audio signal and to reproduce the audio signal through the speaker by interworking with the execution of the LED driving mode. |
