COMPOSITION OF CLEAR TOP COAT AND THE METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a transparent powder coating composition for top coat and a method for preparing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a transparent powder coating composition for top coat which has significantly enhanced weather resistance by solving the disadvantage of the conventional polyester-based powder coating agent, ensures effects of high gloss and high leveling, and contains no organic solvent to provide eco-friendly characteristics, as well as a method for preparing the same. Particularly, the transparent powder coating composition for top coat comprises: i) a base ingredient which is a glycidyl- and hydroxyl-containing multifunctional acrylic resin formed by blending 40-60 parts by weight of glycidyl methacrylate or -methylglycidyl methacrylate, 1-15 parts by weight of a hydroxyl-containing unsaturated monomer and 30-60 parts by weight of an ethylene-containing unsaturated monomer; ii) a multifunctional carboxylic acid curing agent having dibasic or higher basic carboxylic acid; iii) a pinhole-preventing agent; and iv) a leveling agent.
