The present invention relates to a method in which concepts of circulation blocks and groups are introduced for a case where a poor or ineffective compression ratio is obtained by using only a conventional Huffman coding method, categorization into data groups whose compression ratios can be increased by using the Huffman coding method is performed, and different Huffman coding tables are applied to the data groups, thereby improving compression ratio. A unique method is applied to a method for recognizing a circulation block and a group during compression and decompression. All feasible symbols 0 to 15 can be first encountered at least one time by encountering 1^st to 101^th data 10. A second circulation conceptually means a circulation in which, in a state in which a distribution of frequencies of a first circulation up to the 101^th data has been determined, successive reading starts from 102^th data and continues until all the feasible symbols 0 to 15 are first encountered at least one time. In the present embodiment, 102^th to 1082^th data constitute a second circulation block. |
