PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility in thumbnails, and to enable high speed processing.SOLUTION: For displaying an image list stored in a storage unit so as to be easily viewed, and allowing a display of the image list to be implemented in high speed, an image display device is configured to: read out an Exif (registered trade mark) format image file; extract a thumbnail image included in the Exif (registered trade mark) format image file; create a square-shaped display image of a prescribed size from the thumbnail image; and display the created square-shaped display image as an image list. The image list can be displayed in a state where the square-shaped display image of the same size excluding a blank is lined, and thereby visibility is improved. The image list is created using the thumbnail image included in the Exif (registered trade mark) format image file, and thus, high speed processing can be implemented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
