PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly eliminate static electricity on the outer peripheral surface of a pressure roller 23 without reducing image quality of a fixed image, while suppressing energy loss due to radiation of heat from the pressure roller 23.SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: an electricity eliminating sheet 27 that is provided separated from the outer peripheral surface of a pressure roller 23 along the axial direction of the pressure roller to eliminate static charge on the outer peripheral surface of the pressure roller 23; and a heat insulating plate 26 that is arranged to surround the outer peripheral surface of the pressure roller 23 to suppress radiation of heat from the pressure roller 23 to the outside. The electricity eliminating sheet 27 is arranged adjacent to the opposite side of the pressure roller 23 with respect to the heat insulating plate 26, and the heat insulating plate 26 has an opening part 26a formed at a part adjacent to the electricity eliminating sheet 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
