PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentration measurement device and an oxygen concentration measurement method with which it is possible to measure the exact oxygen concentration of a measurement gas that contains a combustible gas.SOLUTION: An oxygen concentration measurement device is provided with a pair of electrodes in an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte layer, one of the electrodes being a measurement electrode that is in contact with a measurement gas via a protective layer, the other electrode being a reference electrode with which a reference gas is in contact, the device sending a pumping electric current between the measurement electrode and the reference electrode in accordance with the concentration of a combustible gas included in the measurement gas and thereby consuming the combustible gas included in the measurement gas, correcting an electromotive force occurring between the electrodes in accordance with the pumping electric current, and measuring an oxygen concentration using an oxygen sensor that detects an electromotive force between the measurement electrode and the reference electrode in accordance with oxygen partial pressure at the two electrodes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
