A satellite signal reception characteristic estimation apparatus comprises: a satellite orbit information collection unit that collects and outputs orbit information of a satellite; a peripheral environment space information collection unit that collects and outputs space information of a peripheral environment of a placement position of a satellite antenna; a position information collection unit that collects and outputs position information of the placement position of the satellite antenna; and a simulation server unit that uses a simulation to estimate a reception characteristic of a satellite signal at the placement position of the satellite antenna on the basis of the orbit information, space information and position information outputted by the satellite orbit information collection unit, peripheral environment space information collection unit and position information collection unit, respectively.
