An array substrate and a broken line repair method therefor: by means of arranging a plurality of openings (11, 13, 14) above an array substrate surface at positions corresponding to a gate electrode scanning line (2) and a source and drain electrode data line (5), the openings (11, 13, 14) being formed by means of a passivation layer (10) deposited at through-holes of an organic layer (9), when repairing a broken line of the array substrate, a metal long line (16) can be directly formed between the openings (11, 13, 14) at the two ends of a broken line by means of laser chemical vapour deposition so that the broken gate electrode scanning line (2) or source and drain electrode data line (5) is re-connected; the present repair method eliminates the step of laser removal of the organic layer (9), saving broken line repair time and effectively reducing the machine laser loss during the removal of the organic layer (9), improving the efficiency and success rate of broken line repair, and thereby improving the display quality of a liquid crystal panel product. |
