Data acquisition system, comprising a plurality of detecting modules which are arranged on the at least two means of transport and each associated with precisely one means of transport, and a central data processing module. Each detecting module comprises a sensor unit, comprising an identification unit, which is configured to record running times of the radiation sent from a radiation source and reflected by a person at a plurality of consecutive time points and from this to output a sequence of three-dimensional matrices as detection signals, and a sending unit which transfers the detection signal together with an identifier of the means of transport or of the detecting module and of location information of the means of transport in a wireless manner to a radio network. The central data processing module comprises a receiving unit and an allocation unit which is configured to process the detecting signal and identify moving persons represented by the detecting signal and on the basis thereof to count the persons getting on or alighting from means of transport, and to save the passenger numbers obtained in this way in a data set which can be sorted according to the identifier of the means of transport or of the detecting module and/or according to the location information. |
