The present invention relates to a method of reducing reception data of a radar. The method of reducing reception data of a radar comprises the steps of: receiving a radar echo signal emitted from a chirp-like transmit signal (S10); specifying a time reception window of the radar echo signal based on a region to be detected by the radar (S12); dividing the radar echo signal into a plurality of spectrum sub-bands (S14); determining a sub-band window with respect to each of the spectrum sub-bands (S16); enabling the sub-band window within a time reception window of the radar echo signal as a reception time function of the radar echo signal (S18); and sampling the radar echo signal by a sampling rate adjusted as a function of the number of the sub-band windows enabled in each sampling instance. |
