PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a metal plate with good appearance incorporating a woody plate where a metal covering plate covers one large surface of the rectangular woody plate and all four side surfaces connected to the large surface and the woody plate is not easily detached from the covering plate.SOLUTION: A metal plate is punched so as to have a shape in which side plates having uniform widths are connected to the four sides of a rectangular surface plate and engaging pieces are added at the tips of the side plates. Narrow width cuts are intermittently made by irradiating along a boundary line between one side plate and the surface plate with laser beams. A metal plate formed body with one open end is produced by raising three side plates except the side plate with the cuts, the woody plate is inserted into the metal plate formed body, and then the side plate with the cuts is raised. |
