In a wireless communication system (1), a vehicle communication apparatus (2) and a portable communication apparatus (3) provide service in cooperation. Both the apparatuses execute in cooperation each of a first application and a second application. When switching from the first application to the second application, a connection destination of a specific profile used in both the apparatuses is switched from the first application to the second application. This improves the connection of profiles.
