Left and right roof rails (15, 15) for supporting a roof panel (40) comprise left and right inner rails (21, 21); and left and right outer panels (31, 31) located on the outsides of the left and right inner rails in the width direction of the vehicle. Each of the left and right outer panels is formed in a stepped shape and comprises, in order from the upper end (36, 36) of the outer panel toward the inside in the width direction of the vehicle: a stepped section (33, 33) at an intermediate stage; and an upper outer flange (34, 34) at a lower stage. The upper outer flanges are joined to the upper surfaces (21a, 21a) of the left and right inner rails. The left and right ends (47, 47) of the roof panel are joined to the stepped surfaces (33a, 33a) of the stepped sections by adhesion sections (72, 72) and temporarily securing sections (73, 73). The temporarily securing sections are weld portions which provide temporary affixation until the adhesion sections can exhibit an adhesion force, and the temporarily securing sections are covered with filling agent layers (74, 74) which are filled into the stepped sections. |
