An opening and closing part of a safety device for an electrical outlet comprises a main body of the opening and closing part moved in one direction and an appearing and disappearing latch projection part lifted up and down by an elastic rod. Thus, the opening and closing part of the present invention improves assembly by a simple structure while not requiring a component like a spring to comprise elasticity, and also reduces production costs sharply, and reduces an area contacting a plug port by forming a contact plane reduction part at both sides of a sliding part, and has the effect of preventing degradation of elastic force due to long time descending of an engaging rod by forming an elasticity maintaining groove at a lower plane of an upper cover. |
