PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel capable of precisely detecting a touch position by eliminating distortion in electric potential distribution.SOLUTION: A first transparent resistance film 22 is formed with plural first grooves 24 being extended in a direction perpendicular to a disposition direction of plural grooves 23 in areas between groove parts 23. In the first transparent resistance film 22 located between electrode patterns 41-44 facing distortion generated areas C, C, D1, D, where distortions of electric potential distribution are generated when the distortions of electric potential distribution are generated in an operation area A, second grooves 27-29 penetrating the first transparent resistance film 22 and extending in a direction perpendicular to the first groove 24 are provided.
