PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device that prevents a grinding waste produced in a grinding work from being deposited to catch fire while in high temperature due to frictional heat, or prevents occurrence of dust explosion due to the grinding waste mixed with air at a mixture ratio in a certain fixed range when the grinding waste is collected and transported by air.SOLUTION: A buff machine (A) for a tire cut sample has a grinder (B) and a cooling container (4). The grinder (B) is disposed in the inside of the cooling container (4) and has a holding stand (54) for holding a workpiece, and includes: a rotation controller (5) for rotating and controlling the holding stand in a horizontal direction; a height controller (55) for controlling a height of the holding stand (54); a laser displacement gauge (33) for detecting a three-dimensional coordinate on a surface of the workpiece held in the holding stand (54); a grinding unit (3) for grinding the surface of the workpiece held in the holding stand (54) in the inside of the cooling container (4); and a coordinate controller (2) for controlling the three-dimensional coordinate of a grinding part that is ground by the grinding unit (3). |
