The invention relates to a transport device and a transport method, in order to move articles, in particular postal packages, from various dispensing stations into the same receiving station. By way of the device according to the solution and the method according to the solution, the articles are transported from at least two first dispensing stations (Ses.1.1,..., Ses.1.10) and at least two second dispensing stations (Ses.2.1,..., Ses.2.10) into at least two receiving stations (Beh.1,..., Beh.10). A conveying device (FE.1,..., FE.10) transports the articles from the second dispensing stations (Ses.2.1,..., Ses.2.10) into the receiving stations (Beh.1,..., Beh.10). An article from a first dispensing station (Ses.1.1,..., Ses.1.10) is moved onto a support component (AK) of a trolley (RW). Subsequently, the articles is moved from the support component (AK) into a receiving station (Beh.1,..., Beh.10). A guide device (Fs.1, Fs.2) holds and guides the trolley (RW) on a transport path between the first dispensing stations (Ses.1.1,..., Ses.1.10) and the receiving stations (Beh.1,..., Beh.10). |
