The present invention relates to a cutting method for a PC light guide plate injection mold gate. A usual method to cut a gate of a light guide plate used in a cell phone and various monitors is to use a cutter using materials, such as a carbide tool, HSS, SK11, and steel. A foggy phenomenon occurs on a cutting face after the cutting by molecules of fine nexus generated from a combination of a scratch and polycrystalline chipping (or polymolecules), which hinders light transmittance and light discharge or reflective light absorption and, eventually, damages a function of the light guide plate requiring light of high purity. Moreover, product quality deteriorates since dust and foreign materials produced during cutting are electrostatically or naturally attached to the cut light guide plate. According to the present invention, in order to solve the aforementioned problems and meet the needs of producers and consumers, a light guide plate is finely cut and polished with a fixed diamond cutting tool, thereby solving the problems and reducing the number of defective products. |
