摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet motor that can change the number of poles and an equipment constant.SOLUTION: By a magnetic field generated by flowing a first magnetization current larger than a current at normal operation for a predetermined short time while making wire connection of armature coils of a stator have 2L poles, respective L variable magnetic force magnets are irreversibly magnetized in the same direction as adjacent fixed magnetic force magnets. The variable magnetic force magnets and the fixed magnetic force magnets are accorded to any one of N and S poles. An image pole having a magnetic pole reverse to the magnetic pole of the adjacent variable magnetic force magnets and the fixed magnetic force magnets is formed to a convex iron core part provided between the adjacent variable magnetic force magnets and the fixed magnetic force magnets to obtain a magnet torque-based 4L-pole PM mode state. The polarity of the variable magnetic force magnets is reversed to obtain a 2L-pole IPM mode state. The operation can be performed on any one of the 4L-pole PM mode and the 2L-pole IPM mode.
