PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover body that can effectively enhance load resistance while employing a synthetic resin as a material.SOLUTION: A cover body 12 is used for covering an underground buried object from a surface of earth, which includes basins such as a street inlet, a sewage water basin, a catch basin and a public inlet, and an underground buried devices such as a water meter, a water works meter, a water spraying cock, a stop cock, a hydrant cock and an electromagnetic valve, for instance, so as to protect them, and also allows the underground buried object to be used from the surface of earth by being lifted as needed. The cover body 12 comprises a plate part 21 and a plurality of ribs 22 for reinforcing the plate part 21, which are integrally molded with injection molding by using the synthetic resin as the material, and also has a structure in which the plurality of ribs 22 are arranged so as to stand on an upper face of the plate part 21. |
