The invention relates to a device (1) for producing pressed bodies from biological material which is in the form of a coarse fibre material and/or wood chips, for example, wherein said device comprises a receiving chamber (2) for receiving the biological material, wherein the receiving chamber has at least one perforated wall (4) having a plurality of openings and at least one ram (6) which is disposed in the receiving chamber (2) and is movable with respect to the receiving chamber (2). According to the invention the ram (6) comprises a plurality of pressing pins (8) for pressing the material through the openings in a heatable die, wherein automatic comminution of the biological material takes place simultaneously. |
