The present invention provides a display device and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the quality of display can be improved while improving an opening ratio. In the display device and the driving method thereof, a first pixel group among multiple pixels displays a first gray-scale image based on a first gamma curve during three sub-frames among consecutive first to fourth sub-frames, and displays a second gray-scale image based on a second gamma curve during the remaining one sub-frame. A second pixel group among the multiple pixels displays a third gray-scale image based on the first gamma curve during three sub-frames among the first to fourth sub-frames, and displays a fourth gray-scale image based on the second gamma curve during the remaining sub-frame. The sub-frame during which the first group displays the second gray-scale image is different from the sub-frame during which the second group displays the fourth gray-scale image. |
