According to the present invention, a group residential area energy managing device comprises the following steps of: collecting environment information and energy information of a residence, in which a user lives, in accordance with an energy management request of the user who lives in a group residential area; selecting a target for emulation among residences of the group residential area having environment information similar to the collected environment information; setting an energy information emulation applying method of the target; and controlling energy management of the residence, in which the user lives, by the set emulation applying method. Therefore, the group residential area energy managing device can conveniently apply energy saving. |
